This web site was written using Windows Notepad.  The images on this site were created in Aldus Photostyler, with some help from Microsoft GIF Animator for transparent and animated images.  The main font used is Courier New or Courier.  Of course, that depends on what fonts you have installed and what operating system you are running, but it should be some type of fixed width font (I hope).

I tried to make this site compatible with all existing browsers, but as is common in any type of programming, that is not always possible.  To ensure this level of compatibility, there are three versions of my web site.  The first is for older browsers; there are no special features on that page.  The other two are different versions of vterm; one for IE4 and one for Navigator 4.  Since the two browsers handle JavaScript differently, I was forced to create two versions.

While this site does not require anything special to be viewed, I do make some recommendations.  I don't usually recommend one browser over another, but in this case, I would have to recommend Internet Explorer 4 or greater.  This is mainly because I use cascading style sheets and certain tags that Navigator doesn't support.  I have compensated the best I can, but viewing my site through Navigator does not look exactly as I have intended it to look.  Also, I suggest that you use at least 800x600 with 24 bit color.  Many of the images in the artwork section are 800x600x24 images, and are easier to see in higher resolutions.  Plus, I didn't limit myself to the 216 color "browser safe" palette, and many of my images have subtle color gradations, so many images will appear banded on 8 or 16 bit monitors.
